At the beginning of Safar 1447 AH, Sayyid ‘Aref Nasrallah, Head of the Public Relations Office of the Grand Marja’, Ayatollah al-Uzma Sayyid Sadiq Husayni Shirazi (may his shadow be prolonged) in Karbala al-Muqaddasah, hosted Hujjat al-Islam Sheikh Nizar al-Hassan, the representative and director of the Marja’iyyah’s office in Basra Province.

This meeting was held in the context of coordination and planning for the Arbaeen pilgrimage, during which key matters related to the organization of the pilgrimage and logistical preparations—particularly in Basra, a major entry point for pilgrims arriving from the southern borders—were thoroughly discussed.

At the conclusion of the meeting, it was agreed to form a joint team to facilitate information exchange and continuous coordination in order to ensure the success and smooth execution of the upcoming Arbaeen pilgrimage.
