The Mourning Assembly of Baghdad Residents, affiliated with the Al-Siddiqa Fatimah (peace be upon her) Center—one of the institutions connected to the Marja’iyya in Baghdad—holds commemorative ceremonies for the first ten days of Muharram.
These ceremonies began at the start of Muharram 1447 AH and will continue until the end of the first ten days. Hundreds of lovers of the Ahlulbayt (A.S.), especially the faithful youth of Baghdad, attend these gatherings, passionately and sincerely performing the rituals of mourning.
