In recent days, the office (ba'thah) of the Grand Religious Authority, Ayatollah al-Udhma Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini Shirazi, in Mecca has hosted a number of religious and scholarly figures, as well as representatives from the offices of various Grand Maraji‘ (religious authorities). A large number of pilgrims to the Sacred House of God have also visited the office, including Ammar al-Kanani, a renowned eulogist from the Arab world.
Among the services provided by the office during the Hajj season are the organization of congregational prayers, answering religious questions, and offering various cultural and religious services to the pilgrims of the Holy Kaaba.
